🚀 Excited to share my latest project: Aastik — An AI-Powered Code Reviewer!
Ever wished you had a Senior Developer sitting next to you 24/7 to roast your code, spot edge-case bugs, and teach you how to write enterprise-grade software?
That’s exactly why I built Aastik.
It’s an AI code-reviewing assistant designed to think like an engineer with 7+ years of experience. You paste your code, hit a button, and get an immediate, detailed breakdown pointing out bugs, anti-patterns, security flaws, and performance bottlenecks—complete with optimized solutions.
🛠️ Key Features:
đź’» Dual Split-View Editor: A beautiful, clean GitHub-style dark UI featuring code editing on the left and streaming AI analysis on the right.
🛡️ Deep Analysis: Reviews code structure, spots syntax issues, detects memory leaks, and warns against security bad practices.
📱 Fully Responsive: Includes a mobile-optimized tab switcher so you can review code snippets on the go.
✨ UX Details: Smooth loading skeletons, click-to-copy functionality, clear-editor hooks, and clean markdown rendering with code syntax highlighting.
đź’» The Tech Stack:
Frontend: React + Vite, react-simple-code-editor (for real-time editing), Prism.js (for syntax highlighting), react-markdown + rehype-highlight, and Axios.
Backend: Node.js + Express, integrated natively with the Groq SDK executing LLaMA 3.3 70B models for lightning-fast inference times.
Building this was an incredible exercise in mastering asynchronous backend stream handling, managing production-ready folder structures (Controllers ➡️ Routes ➡️ Services), and optimizing real-time markdown parsing in React components.

I'd love to know your thoughts! How do you handle code reviews in your current workflow? Let's connect! 👇
